Q. Why do you write across a variety of genres? A. Because I'm a notorious dilettante.

Q. Why do you often write from the victim's perspective when they're about to die? A. Murder is murder and shouldn't be glossed over. It hurts someone. It ends someone. Even when a "good guy" does the murdering. There are no "good guys" in my books. Only good dogs.

Q. Why a BMW motorcycle? Why not a Harley? A. BMW motorcycles are engineered. Harley's are manufactured. If you never have, take a BMW boxer for a test ride one day.

Q. Have you ever been inside a Turkish prison? A. No. Not yet.
